/ This role will be an integral part of the National Accounts Chief Operating Office business unit. This team serves as the primary functional coordinator and strategy leader for Anthem National Accounts (ANA). The goal of this team will be to deliver best-in-class organizational and functional performance that most effectively differentiates ANA from our competitors. This team will develop and drive the national account segment strategy to ensure ANA business grows while leveraging Anthem’s scale and shared resource capabilities. Anthem National Accounts Program Director – Salesforce.com

National Accounts is seeking a Program Director , a role within the/Sales Execution/team of the ANA Chief Operating Office business unit. This role will be responsible for the oversight, development and ongoing management/operation of the National Accounts Salesforce.com CRM system. This is a business role that utilizes a wide array of skills including a combination ofsales analytics/reporting, project management, program management, process improvement, performance analysis and training to enhance the productivity of the sales and account management teams via the Salesforce.com CRM system.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going programs related to National Accounts Sales operations support.
* Establishes program governance when needed to assure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.
* Provides subject matter expertise related to Salesforce.com CRM tool in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends.
* Manages relationship with Salesforce.com and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
* Develops communication documents and training criteria related to program success measures.
* Develops sales report documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the program’s success.
* Provides leadership to program managers and project managers.
* Program directors typically manage external client facing programs that require managing activities and resources of multiple departments or business areas of the organization.
* Program directors typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing programs, projects and initiatives.
* Evaluates the effectiveness of existing multi-line distribution channels and recommends changes to maximize sales effectiveness.
* Evaluates sales incentive plans and recommends design changes to drive new sales and the retention of existing business.
* Performs market opportunity analyses to identify new market opportunities and evaluate ongoing competitive conditions.
* Develops key metrics to track and evaluate sales results against targets, the effectiveness of existing sales channels, and the alignment of sales staff with market opportunities.
* Partners with leadership in national businesses to develop sales strategies and align incentive compensation to increase sales.
Requires a BA/BS degree; 10 years of experience in external client facing program management, project management; complex business processes, strategic and business planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
