The Digital Solutions Portfolio Director will be responsible for managing the work and portfolio management processes for the Digital Solutions team. The portfolio director provides planning and management processes required to enable completion of strategic deliverables across the enterprise portfolio of web, mobile, content management, and user experience design initiatives. Responsibilities include intake, portfolio governance, team capacity planning and demand management, reporting and metrics, and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
• Partner with leaders and associates in the broader enterprise organization to align priorities and strategies, capture and track dependencies and proactively identify risks and issues.
• Define, manage, and provide visibility into the Digital Solutions portfolio of projects, priorities, capacity and status.
• Provide direction and leadership to matrix team of individuals to ensure accurate and timely program reporting, roadmap development, and alignment of projects with partnering teams.
• Drive department planning, resource assignment and timely delivery of deliverables based on the priorities and plans represented in the Digital Solution organization’s roadmaps and for initiatives led outside of the Digital Solutions organization.
• Provide program level governance processes and forums in support of data-driven decision-making and providing transparency into progress, risks, and issues.
• Oversee portfolio management processes including intake, sizing, impact and trade-off assessment, and decision-making processes.
• Build and manage the overall capacity model to support demand planning and alignment of priorities with the team’s capacity to deliver.
• Facilitate meetings to manage portfolio reprioritization as necessary and determine which projects are impact candidates based on resource and business needs.
• Monitor critical path milestones to ensure timely completion of teams’ deliverables.
• Design, implement, facilitate, and improve upon processes and practices for planning, executing, tracking, and reporting to ensure roadmap, portfolio, program and release goals are achieved.

*Qualifications*
* Background and experience in digital strategy, product development and process optimization.
* Proven track record of leadership in a highly complex digital environment including excellent communication skills, ability to influence and champion ideas effectively.
* Strong cross-functional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to synthesize and creatively demonstrate accomplishments, risks, dependencies, decisions, and direction for executive level presentations.
* Strong bias for action, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with changing demands with a sense of urgency and accountability.
* Background in financial, analytical, and organizational skills
* Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment.
* Experience managing, mentoring and coaching direct reports and/or matrix resources.
* Proven ability to work independently and as a team player to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
* High level of industry awareness and business acumen with demonstrable ability to think conceptually, refine into clear plans and organize execution.
* Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
* Highly effective facilitation skills in both large and small group settings.
* Highly skilled in the creation of presentations, new reporting mechanisms and other documents. High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill it in crisp, clear language appropriate for a variety of audiences including technology and business executives.
* Solid understanding of the software/product development lifecycle (SDLC) and program and project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
* Demonstrated understanding of process improvement programs and processes, with experience driving them successfully within technology organizations highly preferred. Experience developing and implementing metrics to deliver desired business outcomes.

*Requirements:*
* BA/BS degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
* 10 or more years of experience in management consulting, digital product management, planning, portfolio management, program management, software development, and/or strategy
* Experience in healthcare industry desired but not required
* Agile methodology experience preferred
* Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint) required.
