The ideal candidate has the ability to understand complex systems transactions and related business processes, across multiple functional areas and systems. Must demonstrate experience and expertise in translating highly complex and varied business needs into concise application software requirements. Candidate must be adept in creating detailed, technical test cases to ensure data accuracy upon execution. Theindividual must have strong experience creating SQL queries and managing MS Access databases. HIPAA transaction and code set, 834, and Facets experience are a plus.

The*Business Consultant**Sr*is responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments. These needs typically involve a significant expenditure or cost savings and impact a wide range of functions. Also, provides expertise to lower leveled consultants. This is the highest level in a career progression.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

* May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.
* Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
* Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
* Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology .

*Additional primary duties may include, but are not limited to:*

* Data import / export using VBA code and programmed controls, Microsoft Access database maintenance.

Splitting MS Access Databases to support linking front end Access to back end database systems
* Database connectivity using ODBC
* Provide SharePoint front end administration, including document management, automated workflow, collaboration, messaging, and content management Develop SharePoint custom views, lists, libraries and integrate enterprise content with SharePoint to include content formatting, personalization, workflow and restricting access to content
* Skilled in all Microsoft Office applications
* Make recommendations on technical approaches to meeting business requirements.
* Effectively communicate with other employees through verbal and written means.
* Work effectively on a team and individually, with minimal supervision.
* Testing - performing user acceptance testing and working with business users to refine application
* Requirements writing

*Business Consultant Sr:*
* Requires a BS/BA degree, 10 years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems

* 3 years experience as a Business Consultant with project management skills

* Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

* Ability to travel maybe required.

*Additional skills :*
* FACETS experience preferred
* 5 years Healthcare experience required
* 5 years Medicare/Medicaid experience required
* 2-5 years Account management or project management preferred
* 2-3 years of experience - Microsoft Access 2007 and/or 2010 – Experience troubleshooting and assisting with database inquiries, maintenance and upgrades to existing databases, and design/build new databases.
* 2-3 years of experience - Microsoft Access VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) including designing Forms, Queries and Reports
* Experience writing SQL queries, preferably using an Oracle Toad tool
