Essential Responsibilities:

Develops project management methodologies for Electric Generation

Successfully implements programs through effective use of change management methods

Creates project management tools and reporting

Enhances project management tools and technologies

Develops project and program tracking and reporting tools

Regularly gauges project management effectiveness and develops projects to continuously improve project management capabilities

Integrates with other NiSource business units to share and develop project management skills and methods

Benchmark NIPSCOs project management capabilities and processes against internal and external peers

Key Work Experiences/EducationRequired for Selection:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent work-related experience in engineering, construction, project management, or other related field of study

Three years of experience in leading project managers in the execution of large projects

Five years of experience in a project management role

Expertise in project management methodologies

Proficiency in the use of project management tools and technologies

Excellent communications skills

Demonstrated ability to apply change management processes to achieve successful acceptance of project implementation

Five years of power plant experience

Preferred for Selection:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Experience in managing construction related projects
