Corporate Recruiter – Huntsville, AL

6 Month Contract Position

Pay: $30-$36/hour

Description:

Execute recruiting and souring duties to identify, screen, and select professional, technical candidates. Utilize ATS for all applicants as they move through the recruitment process.

Duties:

Remains compliant with OFCCP rules on internet applicants.

Reviews, edits, and places job ads on job boards.

Coordinates involvement in job fairs, set-up recruiting displays, and will meet with job fair participants to discuss Company job opportunities.

Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.

Utilization of Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates. (LinkedIn, Dice, etc.)

Providing information on company operations, facilities, job opportunities and employee benefits to candidates.

Coordinates employment offers with applicants and hiring managers.

Reviews Personnel Requisitions and discusses job requirements with line management.

Interviews and screens internal job candidates who apply for job opportunities within the Company.

Reviews resumes and forwards best matched candidates to managers for review.

Interviews applicants to determine and evaluate their work history, education, training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications.  Makes referrals for further interviewing with line management.

Performs reference and background checks on applicants.

Develops, and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms and other sources of applicants.

Must haves:

Ability to effectively interface with many technical and management personalities.

Must have the ability to use a personal computer with Microsoft Excel and Word software.

Excellent communication skills are a must.

Need to successfully communicate to all levels of employees and applicants.

Position requires both sitting and standing for long periods of times while attending career fairs.

Capacity to set-up and remove job fair display booths.

Prior agency experience preferred. Strong sourcing abilities required (Boolean experience), prior experience sourcing the LinkedIn talent pool is required.

Need experience using ATS. (Currently use Smart Recruiters, transitioning to Workday).

Also need knowledge and basic understanding of OFCCP rules that govern federal contractors in regards to affirmative action.

Must hold a four-year college degree in HR, Business or related field.

Minimum of four years technical recruiting experience.

Some travel required to attend career fairs.

US Citizenship is required.
