An opportunity exists for a Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Alcohol and Drug Worker in community healthcare setting in Creston, BC, where your evidence-based treatment and clinical skills supports clients across the continuum of available services.
The Alcohol and Drug Worker functions as a member of the larger Community Integrated Health Services (CIHS) health care team and provides assessment, treatment, service coordination, and as required, urgent response to clients who may also have serious functional impairment in the domains of physical health and personal, family, financial, occupational, and social life. The Alcohol and Drug Worker functions as a primary clinician utilizing a variety of specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients and/or their families.
This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan that includes coverage for basic Medical Services, Dental Services, and Extended Health including Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, and Physiotherapist services, plus Life Insurance.
Shifts consist of Tuesdays and Wednesdays (08:30 to 12:15 hours); Thursdays (08:30 to 16:36) hours.
