Job Purpose:
To Plan and ensure the maintenance of machines in Weaving & processing
To ensure availability of utilities for smooth operations in a safe environment within budgeted cost.

Supporting Actions
Conceptualize and implement maintenance plan for all equipment of all SPH, Weaving & humidification.
Plan & Prepare maintenance schedules and implements the same.
Documentation of various maintenance activities.
Machines overhauling work.
Ensure shift maintenance.
Ensure Minimize the machines down time due to Mechanical breakdown.
To understand the problem provide guidelines and support to subordinate team for day to day work.
Analyze the root cause to guide for preventive actions.
Minimize the cost of spares/ Maintenance and utility (compressed Air, Water, H-Plant) for cost optimization and effective savings.
Identify the specification of the spares.
Locate perspective alternate supplies and obtain samples & quotations, Assesses suitability & reliability and decided- Whenever possible, undertake repair/salvage of damaged parts. Implements compressed air/water/power/thermo pack/boiler conservations measures.
Upgrade and update the skills and knowledge of engineering shift/subordinates.
Upgrade the knowledge & skills of subordinate regarding machines and equipments.
Educate them from time to time.
Monitor periodically and demonstrate on the floor wherever required.
