Job Description:
Managing Operations
Ø Taking care of
operation and maintenance
of Telecom infrastructure.
Ø Maintaining 24/7 network uptime.
Ø Taking care of
all Passive telecom infrastructure like
,Tower, DG Sets, SMPS
(-48V/+24V) Battery banks, PIU, Air conditioners etc.
Ø Developing systems to manage manpower spread out across
locations
Ø Managing all day to day sites to ensure Uptime, Cost and
Safety
Ø Continuously working out ways to reduce cost at sites
through application of creativity and innovation
Ø Setting daily MIS to monitor site condition, tracking
deviations and come out with improvements
Ø To analyze
the energy and other OPEX on daily basis and implement effective measures to minimize
the OPEX.
Ø Implement world class practices like 5S, Building Kaizen
culture, Safety and SOP adherence.
Ø Ensure business development in the circle, cost control, timely collection of payments as per the targets.
Ø Ensure the volumes and revenues of the circle as per the Business Plan
Ø Project
planning, Site Coordination/Monitoring, Site
Execution and preparation of handover documents
Training /Coaching
Ø Team development for operation.
Ø Training to entire team on technical skill, attitude,
integrity, reliability, cost & safety.
Ø Document Standard technical literature
(Quality manual) which consists of Processes (SOPs),
Guidelines, Drawings.
Ø Guiding the Technicians/Site In charges both on Values and
soft skills so that they bring the right practices at site as a first point of
contact.
Ø Play a role model which could be emulated by site
technicians.
Ø Providing Technical inputs for Developing training material
Technical Knowledge
Ø Assessment of Market potential /
feasibility analysis for various telecom passive infrastructure items used at telecom
sites.
Ø Assets finalization
as per market requirements forTelecomInfrastructure items like DG sets, Tower
Shelters, PIU, SMPS, Servo stabilizer, Fire alarm System, Battery Bank, Lightning system, DC-DC Convertor, etc.
Ø Exploring the
concept of Total solution provider fortelecom sites
Ø Ensure effective implementation of new
initiatives defined by the senior
management tomeet the
defined goals / objectives
Ø Vendor
Evaluations, Negotiations & techno-commercial analysis
Ø Optimization of Passive
infrastructure equipments,
shelter layout, DG ratings, SMPS
ratings, green solutions capacity etc.
Managing Internal and External
Environment :
Ø Proactively capturing local issues at the sites
Ø Managing the issues by interaction with the Site owner/Local
Authorities/Opinion leaders at the location
Ø Regular interaction
with the team and customer and maintain most
preferred vendor status with all
customers.
Ø .Ensure the proper& timely services from various
vendors.
Ø Building up the customer confidence on operation.
Ø Initiative towards the green solutions.
