Notification  through Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2012-13/04 has come out yesterday for SBI PO Recruitment 2013 for 1500 Probationary Officer (PO) positions. If you are a graduate and would like to apply for these PO jobs you can apply from 30th January, 2013 onwards. As per the notification, the last date to apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2013 is 23rd February, 2013 and the written exam would be held on 28th April, 2013.

SC: 225, ST: 112, OBC: 405, GEN:758, Total: 1500.

Salary for SBI Bank PO positions :

SBI is offering salary for these PO positions in the pay-scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. With this pay scale, initial monthly salary (compensation) of SBI Probationary Officers, including D.A., H.R.A. and C.C.A., are approximately Rs. 69,000/- at Metropolitan centres.

SBI Bank PO Eligibilities:

Age eligibility: as on 01.01.2013

Min: 21 years. Max: 30 years.

Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rule as well as for experienced persons.

Academic qualification eligibilities:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised College / University.

Selection process for SBI PO:

Selection process for SBI PO positions consists of a national level written test, followed by GD & Interview. The marks for the written test is 250, while for GD it is 20 marks and interview: 30 marks. You can find details of this in my blog article titled: SBI PO exam sample papers, books and exam pattern.

SBI PO Exam 2013 Call letter/Admit Card:

You have to download the call letter for SBI PO Exam 2013 along with the "Acquaint Yourself" booklet for the exam from the SBI Recruitment website 08/04/2013. SBI is not going to send you any call letter/admit card by post.

SBI Bank PO Online Form 2013:

You can apply to these Probationary Officer positions only online. There is no offline form for SBI PO exam!

How to apply online for SBI PO Recruitment exam is given very clearly in section: 10. HOW TO APPLY:" in page-2 of the notification. SBI PO Recruitment 2013 Online form would be available from 30th January onwards.

Date of Online registration starts: 30.01.2013

Payment of fees - online : 30.01.2013 to 23.02.2013

Payment of fees - offline : 01.02.2013 to 28.02.2013

Last date for SBI Bank PO on-line application/registration: 23.02.2013.

Date for downloading SBI PO Exam 2013 Call letter: 08.04.2013

Date of SBI Bank PO 2013 Exam: 28.04.2013 (SUNDAY).
