State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to recruit 1837 Probationary Officers (PO) in 2014 - its Notification through Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2014-15/01 has come out just today and submission of online application form would commence from 7th April. The last date for form submission is 25th April, 2014. The written test - SBI PO Exam 2014 would be held in June, 2014.

SC: 235, ST: 439, OBC: 405, GEN:758, Total: 1837.

Salary for SBI Bank PO positions :

SBI is offering salary in the pay-scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. With this pay scale, SBI CTC is about Rs. 8.4 lakhs per annum in metros and the monthly salary for a Probationary Officer in SBI is around Rs. 70,000/=.

Eligibility to apply for SBI PO vacancies:

Age eligibility: (as on 01.04.2014)

Min: 21 years. Max: 30 years.

Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rule as well as for experienced persons.

Academic qualification eligibilities: (as on 10.08.2014)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised College / University.
Final year students can also apply provided their result is declared on or before 10.08.2014.

Selection process for SBI Probationary Officers:

Selection process for SBI Probationary Officer positions consists of twp phases:
Phase-I: Written Exam of 250 marks.
The exam consists of an Online test of  200 marks (Objective Type), followed by 50 marks Pen-Paper test (Descriptive Type).

Phase-II: Those shortlisted in the above written exam would be called for Group Discussion (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks).

Call letter/Admit Card for SBI PO Exam 2014 :

You have to download the call letter for SBI PO Exam 2014 along with the "Acquaint Yourself" booklet by entering your registration number and password / date of birth, from 30.05.2014. SBI is not going to send you any call letter/admit card by post.

Online Application Form for SBI Bank PO Exam 2014:

There is no offline form for this recruitment and you have to apply  only through online application form.
This form would be available only in between 7th to 25th April, 2014.
