BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The incumbent serves as principal media advisor/liaison to U.S. Mission Nigeria on the print media within seventeen states that comprise the consular district of the U.S. Consulate General Lagos. This position advises Mission management on appropriate  reactions/responses to media stories and is available 24/7 to coordinate urgent press matters. She/he coordinates placement of U.S. Mission Nigeria and Department of State media products with print media in the district. Serves as point of contact for and manager of print media interviews conducted with U.S Mission personnel and social media training for journalists within the consulate district.

Basic Function of the Position:

Lead Process Engineer

Purpose
You will provide process engineering services to WorleyParsons, and its Customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the process team.

Responsibilities
Deliver process engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Perform process engineering services such as:
identify and report changes to project scope;
assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules;
provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders;
contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering
If required, assist and support junior personnel within the process engineering team.

Technical and Industry Experience

Structural Engineer (BRG/FLARE)

Job Specific Knowledge:
Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.
The role mandates previous experience in minimum facility platform design and including the substructure, topsides and bridges.
A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis using SACS for substructure and topsides in-place strength, seismic & fatigue, load-out, transportation, flotation, upending, on bottom stability and lifting analyses as a minimum is required.

Expert knowledge of Analysis, simulation, programming and design calculations, Application of knowledge to add value, Understanding and implementation of engineering and design process, equipment skid design, specification and procurement activities, Designs for constructability, commissioning, operations and maintenance

Ability to develop engineering sketches with hand calculations & details for drafting and to carry out engineering checks of drawings. Work shall include MTOs, preparation of specifications and engineering requisitions. Industry Specific Experience:

6 to 8 years experience, of which the last 4 years has performed detail structural design of substructures and topsides using SACS for the offshore oil and gas industry.

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. In general, manage the interfaces internal and external to the FPSO package. In conjunction with FPSO Internal Interfaces Engineer and other FPSO team Leaders, lead the FPSO interfaces management efforts to ensure that the team meets its obligations at all project boundary conditions.

Establish effective communication platform and promote discussions/ dialogue among project team members in Lagos, Korea and Melbourne on one part and among all the effective FPSO project worksites globally to ensure prompt sharing of vital project information and regular updating on major developments.

Coordinate the interfaces and ensure an effective flow of information at the boundary of the FPSO package, internal to the Company project team organization (i.e. SPS, UFR, OLT packages and ICSS and LLIs contracts)

Assure technical cooperation in the team and with contractors in order to minimize technical and economical risks due to interfaces, liaising with all packages interface leaders and as need be with Engineering managers in order to assure the alignment and consistency of technical interfaces.

Managing interface meetings, as necessary, with the different contractors in order to agree interfaces qualification / clarification addressing all qualification to reduce technical and economical risks, negotiating the best resolution of interface discrepancy

Keep abreast of other projects feedback, experience, know-how implementing best practices where applicable and relevant to the project phase

Promote effective interface management through the introduction of new tools (as necessary) to assure technical interfaces integrity and traceability of agreements/changes.

Develop any required register and / or ensure adequate use of interface managing tools such as eRoom.

Ensure that interfaces are executed and completed in accordance with project objectives, ensure that interfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen. Essential Experience and Job Requirements:-

Graduated with a MSc in engineering that relates to industry at large and preferably to Petroleum industry activities (such as Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering) with a sound oil & gas multi-discipline technical background in deep offshore production facilities engineering & construction, complemented by general knowledge/experience concerning the integration of subsea system surface equipment (risers, umbilicals, subsea control systems, hydraulic systems, etc) with the surface production facilities. A good understanding of overall and detail planning management is essential.

Professional Experience (number of years): 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience in Oil and Gas Production Projects, with some participation in FPSO project.

Language: Fluent English.
