Job Description

The Attorney works within the Legal Services Shared Services Centre (SSC) and is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and project management support on various strategic legal transactions and corporate projects/assignments regarding OER's business.

The incumbent is responsible for daily transaction processing as it relates to the preparation and review of contracts, legal opinions, etc. In addition, the Attorney provides project administration support and handles time and fee schedules, project work plan monitoring, status report preparation, project documentation and filing in addition to handling assigned responsibilities.

The incumbent processes legal transactions in line with the overall philosophy and strategy of the Group regarding legal matters and ensures that all practices, policies and business activities handled fall within the bounds of the Group's legal posture.

The incumbent provides transaction and operational support and practical advice geared towards the effective and efficient management of the risks and legal needs of each transaction/assignment.

Qualifications

1st degree in Law; BL

2 - 4 years legal work experience either from a reputable law firm or within the Legal Department of a reputable and structured business environment

Ability to perform basic/general legal analysis

Strong & effective business communication (verbal and writing skills)

Ability to plan and execute complex assignments under pressure

Demonstrated business acumen and superior judgment

Critical Attributes

Good working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry

Good Knowledge of the local and international laws and regulations governing the various geographies in which OER do business

Good negotiation, contract management, basic accounting, business acumen and entrepreneurial skills with an eye for detail

Good legal documentation and data filing skills

Very good client relationship management skills

INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

An Instrumentation and Control Technician repairs, maintains, calibrates, adjusts and installs industrial measuring and controlling instrumentation.

This instrumentation makes sure that all machines in a plant are safe and running correctly.

They regulate the water flow in equipment or check the air quality in a mine.

The operation and safety of the plant relies on these instruments so the Instrumentation and Control Technician is very important as they constantly monitor and calibrate these instruments.

Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments.

Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts.

Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, test and write maintenance reports.

Install and control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes.

Consult with and advise process operators, and perform scheduled maintenance work and complete test and maintenance test report.

Observing safety in accordance to government and company standard.

Instrumentation and Control Technicians work mainly indoors, on the plant floor and often in cramped conditions.

They may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time and be exposed to high noise, fumes and heat levels.

Because this is such an important job, they must pay close attention to safety and may be called out in emergencies.

Constant learning will be required to keep up with new technology.

HVAC TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Assembles, installs, repairs and test industrial Chillers, Refrigerators, Heating, Ventilating and Air conditioning Equipment. Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components.

Locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that HVAC activities meet the technical specifications and good practice.

Keep temperatures in the processing, packing and finished goods storage sections within specifications.

Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace to avoid incidents.

ACCOUNTS OFFICERS

Requirements

Fresh NCE, Polytechnic and University graduates in relevant disciplines are required to be trained in Account Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Treasury and Inventory control.

Diploma, C&G, FTC and Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, with an emphasis on courses that include control and instrumentation modules for Instrumentation and Control; C&G/FTC in Refrigeration and Air conditioning unit: and OND/HND/NCE/DEGREE in any Social Sciences for the position of Personnel Officers/Supervisors.
