For those of you who don’t like going all the way to the bank to complete simple banking tasks, Stanford Federal Credit Union (SFCU) provides a secure and easy-to-use online banking service. Cardholders of the Stanford Federal Credit Union Platinum Select Rewards Credit Card can take advantage of this service to check statements, make payments, cinitiate transfers and access all the financial tools they need. It’s so much easier to log onto your computer or mobile device whenever you need to deal with a banking issue rather than driving all the way to the nearest branch. If you’re just getting used to computers or smart phones, you might find the online banking world a bit daunting. That’s where we come in. We have written our simple instructions you can follow to learn how to create a new online account, log into an existing account, and also activate your new Stanford Federal Credit Union Platinum Select Rewards Credit Card.

How to Login
First, navigate to the SFCU website and locate the login area near the top of the screen, where you’ll find spaces to enter your User ID and Password. Type in your login credentials and click Log In. Provided both your ID and password were accurately typed in, you should now be looking at the main page of your SFCU banking account.
If you’re having trouble remembering your password, there is a procedure you can go through to retrieve it. Click the Forgot Password? link located below the spaces you typed your ID and password in. Next, you are asked to enter your User ID. Click Submit and on the subsequent pages you will be asked to create a new password and you will be given further instructions on how to get back into your online banking account. If you’re having trouble with your user ID, you will need to call 1 (888) 723-7328 and speak to a SFCU customer service representative.

Secure Registration
The first thing most people do upon receiving a new credit card is activate it. If you haven’t already done so, call the number posted above to complete the activation process with help from a customer service representative. With that out of the way, it would be a good time to enroll for a SFCU online banking account. To start the enrollment process, click the Secure Registration link below the activation number. Once the page loads, you can provide your Last Name, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, create a Login ID and click Continue. Next, you will be asked to give some more information pertaining to your account, as well as create a password to go along with your ID. These will be used to log into your account from here on out.
