A robust new chassis combined with a Cummings 5.0 V-8 Turbo Diesel engine means the Titan XD is capable of towing more than 12,000 pounds with pulling power, stopping power, and confident handling. 310 horsepower, 555 lb-ft of torque.
There will also be a regular Titan, it is a 1500 competitor and completely different from the XD. The XD offers increased capability, heavy-duty use or commercial applications.

Durability, quality and reliability: 12,000+ lbs MAX towing capacity and max payload capacity of 2000+ pounds offers light duty comfort with heavy duty attitude. SAE J2807 certified.

Every 2016 Titan XD starts with an extra large, fully boxed, full length ladder frame. Its heavy duty attitude continues with:

Trailer light check, ensures all lights are working and the key fob will cycle through all the lights, patented innovation.

Speed control sensors can detect road grade and can automatically downshift the transmission when brakes are applied when in Tow/Haul mode.
Trailer sway control reduces sway so the trailer doesn’t loose control.
Moving object detection, blind spot warning plus Front and rear sonar system.
Suspension and springs have optimized dampening so the ride isn’t compromised.
Zero Gravity seats, excellent seat cushion support and comfort. Heated front and rear seats and heated steering wheel.
Audio is a Rockford Fosgate premium audio system, Nissan connect includes services from Sirius XM, built in technology that provides emergency services, remote access to your Nissan and navigation services.
Remote engine start or remote lock/unlock your vehicle is available through the mobile app.
The mobile app is a suite of apps that it gives you technology to find out about your vehicle, music, phone, maps and more.
The premium services include boundary, valet, curfew and speed alerts. In addition, you can purchase services for Google send to car, connected search and destination download and more.
Factory spray on bed liner, bed side storage, Utili-track system with tie down cleats, bed extender, tailgate lighting, dampened tail gate, DC power supply, channel-system.
Added is increased LED lighting in the bed, removable, lockable in bed storage, two-way tailgate assist, that still allows for a bed topper, tonneau or cover. Lockable Under seat storage that coverts to a flat floor system.
