China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) is the only state-owned company which is directly sponsored by central government of People’s Republic of China, specialized in energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection.

CECEP is the evaluating and consulting institute designated by the Central Government and the relevant ministry for evaluating energy conservation projects, at the same time acting as the center for monitoring the central enterprises’ energy conservation and emission reduction as well as the technical service center. CECEP is the evaluating and consulting institute designated by the Central Government and the relevant ministry for evaluating energy conservation projects and the center for monitoring the work of energy conservation and emission reduction done by the central enterprises directly under the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), we have undertaken the planning and implementation of the “Pilot Training Program for Energy Managers of Central Enterprises” commissioned by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the SASAC.

CECEP has been engaged in the construction of energy efficient buildings all around China. For example, the Science Museum of Green Building Technology located in Hangzhou is built by integrating the most advanced domestic and foreign energy saving and environmental protection technologies, it has reached the top grade for national level green buildings by winning China’s Green Three-Star Prize and the LEED certificate designated by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).Low-Carbon Industry ParkCECEP has developed 10 low-carbon industry parks in China with the total building area of 3.5mn m2. These parks are the concentration of low- carbon enterprises in which the buildings are built with the functions of energy saving and environmental protection through introducing advanced international technologies. CECEP has obtained over 130 certificates related to engineering construction and accomplished the tasks of exploration, design, consultation, scientific research and construction for tens of thousands of large-and- medium-sized engineering projects commissioned by domestic and foreign enterprises, in addition to the compilation of dozens of national and provincial level standards. We have established offices in over 20 countries in Asia, Africa and America, and we have undertaken many EPC, BOT and BT engineering projects for more than 60 countries.
