It’s a fresh new year for caravan-lovers around Australia, and one of the most exciting new caravans on the market is the three-berth Burke just launched by Winnebago Australia.
Designed for travellers with a spirit of adventure, the Burke proudly bears the iconic red ‘Winnebago’ logo on the exterior—reminding travellers that it is part of a long international tradition of caravan and motorhome holidays.
Featuring a slide-out panel which expands living space and makes the night time conversion of a day-lounge to single bed particularly easy, the Burke is a beautiful combination of stylish construction and easy-care features.
The designer interior features crisp whites, ash-grey wood and bold geometric soft furnishing options.
Large windows above the kitchen area and behind the lounge lend an airy apartment-style feel to the spacious interior, which features a fixed queen island bed, convertible day-lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
The striking hotel-worthy ensuite allows you to shower in privacy, is light-filled and includes plenty of cupboard space. Hidden away but easily accessed is a 2.5kg washing machine—convenient and time-saving for longer road trips.
Entertainment is a key feature, with the Burke boasting an impressive spread of standard features including 32-inch HD TV, Bluetooth radio system, all designed to make living easy on the road.
Business Development Manager Richie Fort said the Burke was sure to impress Australian travellers, with a completely modern interior to make long and short term travel a pleasure.
“We’re really proud to have our first Australian-built caravan available for travellers,” Mr Fort said.
The Burke joins an all-Australian range of Winnebago motorhomes and campervans and is the first of four Australian-built caravans planned for 2016.
Whether you’re a weekend traveller or permanently on the road the Burke hosts an array of creature comforts and liveable features to compliment your travelling style. From the fully equipped kitchen, 150W solar panels, washing machine, large water storage, and 9kg gas bottles, no holiday is too long for the Burke. There’s even an external picnic table—and we all know food tastes so much better in the great outdoors.
Soon to follow in the path of the Burke, the Winnebago Mossman, a 22 foot, 4-berth caravan.
