There are so many caravan parks that we know and love – but have you ever thought of managing one? The nationally recognised Australian Caravan Park Training School has over 20 years’ experience in turning people’s passion for travelling into a plan for the future. The regular, one week course is held at the BIG4 North Star Holiday Resort, perched on the stunning Tweed Coast. The park brings over 110,000 bed nights annually to the region and has a rocksolid reputation in the industry, giving anyone who attends an indication of the greatness that can be achieved.

The Caravan Park Training School not only offers a stunning location, it also gives students of every age and background the benefit of learning from real-life professionals who have over several decades combined experience between them. This school has the incredible ability to take your enthusiasm for travel and turn it into a real life dream. The Caravan Park Training School has a love for teaching, and they want to turn your travels into a wonderfully rewarding dream job. With a luxury location, exceptional teachers and the chance to turn your passion into a real practice – what’s not to love?

LEARN IN RESORT STYLE LUXURY

Forget the old classrooms you grew up in, you’ll have the chance to learn in style at the idyllic BIG4 North Star Holiday Resort. This award winning resort is situated only metres from the Pacific Ocean and one of the locations on the legendary Pacific Coast Whale Watching Trail. BIG4 North Star was the first holiday park to achieve a 5-star rating in New South Wales, experience it for yourself and choose to stay in your ‘classroom’. If you travel here with your children, you’ll adore the free activities available, with a waterpark for the kids and a spa or massage parlours available for adults after ‘class’. The clean, modern classroom is the absolute perfect size as well – big enough to spread notes out, but close enough to perfectly understand and learn from your teachers. One of the greatest things is knowing that you’re in a space filled with people who have the exact same passion and drive as you.

THE FULL EXPERIENCE

Courses operate at regular intervals throughout the year, with one-week orientation courses for prospective caravan and holiday park owners, managers and staff and the option of a three day extension course for a more in-depth reservation system learning experience. The seven vital units covered in this course educate trainees on the big picture of caravan park management, giving everyone a deeper understanding of what it takes to turn their passion into aworthwhile career. Since completing the course at North Star, Gary Curtis and his wife have gone on to manage caravan parks across Australia and have even managed a beautifully iconic Byron Bay caravan park. “The very high level of professionalism of the school is truly mind-blowing. It teaches the basic principles of caravan park management that are a must for anyone considering a career in the industry… We felt well educated on the theory and practical applications required to successfully run a park and we were instilled with confidence.” Gary told us.
