The hit came in the third quarter of the game on a second-and-six pass that Thompkins couldn’t reel in after taking the blow from Jenkins. Do the Saints Have the Loudest Stadium in the NFL?
"We don’t need the Guinness Book of World Records to tell us that we are the loudest stadium. We already know that we are." – Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, on the recent "official" world record of 137.5 decibels set by Kansas City Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium for loudest outdoor stadium.

Saints Setting Historic Turnover Pace
The New Orleans Saints are playing great football with a 5-1 and are doing so because Drew Brees and Co. are playing some of the best football in the team’s history.

Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints, Mickey Loomis, Jimmy Graham Contract
Despite being held without a single catch or yard in Week 6, Graham still leads (for now) the NFL in Reception Yards with 593 yards on 37 catches, and 4 touchdowns. Before the shutout, that was nearly 119 yards/game (118.6 actually) & 7 catches/game (7.4 actually). Those numbers are now 98.9 yards/game, & 6.1 catches/game. If Graham were to keep his pace, he’s on track to finish the season with nearly 1,600 yards & 96 receptions when it’s all said and done.

I've confirmed the Saints sent their latest contract offer to Graham's camp two months ago, before he opened the season with monstrous numbers. Notice the use of "latest contract offer." The team has indeed been actively pursing a new deal for their best offensive weapon, but it takes two parties for negotiations to commence.

It’s not all that surprising that Capers, one of the originators of the zone blitz, is still figuring up ways to dial up blitzes where a pass rusher comes completely free. Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan (six unblocked sacks) also brings a reputation of inventing clever blitzes, and Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver (six unblocked sacks) is a lesser-known coach who is doing an excellent job of confusing protection schemes.
