John Freedman has been elected president of the North Pacific Union Conference by delegates to the union’s regular constituency session held Sept. 25, 2016, in Portland, Ore. Freedman replaces Max Torkelsen II, whose retirement became effective at the end of the session. Delegates also re-elected John Loor Jr. and Mark Remboldt to their respective posts. MORE

During five Market Nights culminating on Sept. 8, 2016, the Redlands church’s hollow vending machine dispensed free beverages, snacks, dolls, coloring books and crayons, and glow stick tubes.
