Squirrel Lodge is a fabulous place to stay. It looks beautiful in and around it, and the feeling of peace when you are there cannot be put into words. The owners, are lovely people, really thoughtful and welcoming, without being intrusive. This is a gem of a find, and will now be our place of choice when staying in Inverness. There was nothing about Squirrel Lodge that we found disappointing, except having to leave!

,Absolutely fantastic holiday. Lovely cosy flat in quiet country surroundings. Excellent base for touring the Moray Firth area and beyond. The owners made us very welcome, and we wish them well for the future. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic week.

,The Lodge was excellent. If I could transport it home I would keep it. The red squirrels come in the morning, and sitting on our own balcony, drinking coffee and watching them in the trees nearby was wonderful. We had a wonderful time here, and visited far too many places to list.

,We had a lovely stay at Squirrel Lodge. We had a warm welcome from the owners who where very helpful, and would go out of there way to help with anything. The property is in the owners grounds but it is fairly private and you can sit out on the lovely balcony without feeling overlooked. The furnishings where all to a high standard modern and immaculate. There was storage for our bikes, and plenty of parking. The location was great for us to explore the area. Overall we had a lovely week in Scotland, and would stay again without any hesitation. We have recommended Squirrel Lodge to our family and friends.

Area Description
Croy is a village overlooking the Moray Firth between Nairn and Inverness and has a village shop. Nairn is seven miles away and is a seaside town which offers some of the top beaches in Scotland.
