The over the top golf slice is easy to correct. The solution to golf slicing rest s in how you begin your forward swing. If you are in a relatively correct position at the top of your golf swing it is a matter of simply turning your torso correctly. The initial turning motion in the forward swing is more like a Ferris wheel than it is like a merry go round. Simply put rotate your shoulders and torso more toward the ground than toward the horizon line.

Equally important is to keep your writs and arms passive as your torso and your hips move in the more downward rotational motion. You want to keep the rotational motion going down and forward enough to hit through the ball. If you begin pushing early with your wrists and arms you are very likely going to cut across the ball and cause the classic golf slicing swing. Also important is to allow allow your weight to transition to your forward foot/leg during the turning motion. If you turn but stay on your back foot you may hit have a golf slicing move. Use a mirror or video came to observe whether or not golf slicing motions exist.

Dave Cahill of Cahill Golf Schools in Palm Springs and Las Vegas Golf Shools can help you stop golf slicing for golf or any other faults you golf swing may have.
