Tuesday night, TNA will launch Impact Wrestling on its second new network home in as many years.

That in and of itself is pretty miraculous, but Dixie Carter and company aren't content to sit on their laurels. In addition to crowning a new champion on the January 5 show, and holding a live pay-per-view (PPV) event the following Friday, TNA is now rolling out a new character. And you can't accuse them of not promising something special, considering the gimmick is rolling out today with its own social media accounts.

In addition to the Twitter account, the above video promises something akin to the creation of a universe, saving a life or a human birth (or rebirth). So look for something bigger than Tito Ortiz, I guess?

Rumors have been going around for weeks that TNA was looking to debut some big free agent acquisitions on Pop TV. The biggest alleged signing we've heard about is New Japan and Ring of Honor's Maria Kanellis and Michael Bennett. It's not a stretch to see the pair working a vanity gimmick, so this could very likely be their TNA schtick...hopefully not as a husband & wife televangelist team, but who knows? Stranger things have worked. And TNA does need to think outside the box.

Could they have landed a bigger fish and managed to keep him or her under wraps? Seems unlikely - both because I don't know who else is out there, and even major longshots such as Goldberg aren't going to work any character other than their established one.

Make your guesses and or jokes below. And we'll see you back here on Tuesday for the reveal.
