The Fragrance Foundation has revealed the 2014 Finalists, as well as winners for Indie Scent of the Year, Bath and Body Line of the Year and all Editorial Excellence awards at a special breakfast today, April 11, at the Mandarin Oriental in New York. I attended the event which was emceed by actress Christine Baranski who quipped "Can anyone create a fragrance for me called L'Eau de Litigation" a fun reference to her Emmy winning role in the hit TV series The Good Wife. Michael Gould was named to the Hall of Fame Honoree and Carlos Benaim, master perfumer at International Flavors & Fragrances, received the Perfumer of the Year Lifetime Achievement award. All remaining winners will be revealed at The Fragrance Foundation Awards on June 16 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
