A Balance of Innovation, Style and Harmony with Nature

This modern cabin rental in the Netherlands is located on the edge of what was once a 19th century hunting domain in the central eastern region of the country. The first in a series of innovative prefab home concepts, owners and designers Arno Schuurs and Paulien van Noort of the Netherlands-based Qoncepts agency created the cabin as a prototype and show model holiday home.

The construction of the cabin home is divided into two sections prefabricated off-site, which are then transported to site and installed using simple screw foundation technique and placing the structure above ground level.

The material selection are all natural and require little maintenance. The untreated Oregon Pine planks that make up the main facade cladding and the flooring covered in oak fishbone, coupled with the use of raw concrete and steel, harmonize like a symphony, and make it a charming home with simple bare beauty.

Sit back and relax by the beautiful fireplace in the sunken lounge space in the main living area, or snuggle at the comfy “bird’s nest” loft space while you spend your vacation at this amazing cabin overlooking a private forested woodland and meadow. It is simply a stay that you won’t forget.
