I just realized that as of today, I've found every active cache placed by tomulus. I took a hike at Piney Run this morning and found GCH8ZA, GC39W3M, and GC39W3N, which were the last 3 I needed.
When I first started caching (in earnest) in early 2013, I cut my teeth on many of tomulus' older hides that are closer to Baltimore. I have fun memories of the "Dots" puzzles in Gwynns Falls Park (GCWQDC, GCN677); the "Circle BWI" series (GCY7TB, GCY7TC); "What's Up? at Centennial Lake" (GCV1AX), and many others. I credit the "Lightning Strike" series (GC3C03C, GC3C9ZD, GC3CH10, GC3CPZY) for introducing me to Liberty Reservoir. After my first time caching there, I was hooked. I eventually started doing more caching in Carroll County, and ultimately got involved with the C3F. Good times!
Besides "Lightning Strike", some of my favorite tomulus caches in Carroll County include "POINK!" (GCTMHY); "Getting Your Bearing" (GCHDGE); the LDPAT series at the Dam (GC18298 et al); and the new Triple Crown Horse Trail (GC5VGQ5 et al).
Thanks to tomulus for all of the great hides!
