Mere Tent Mein Jo Aaye: Representing India at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) was an honour, but one which Parineeti failed to reflect with her style statement. An asymmetrical black and white salwar kurta teamed with black leggings does not a fabulous style statement make! We also disliked her second change at TIFF- an ink blue lace tablecloth- oops- we mean dress! Add to that was that pale pink lip colour and boring eye makeup, and Parineeti lands straight on our worst dressed list, yet again!
Princess Nahin, Actress Kaho: Ileana D’Cruz had a fairytale-like debut with Ranbir Kapoor in last year’s ‘Barfi!’, but that doesn’t mean she needs to dress like a Barbie doll at all times. For a promotional shoot on a comedy show for ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, Ileana couldn’t have gone more wrong in the dressing department, because she donned a fuchsia pink cake-like dress.
Another newbie falters: Seems like newcomers in Bollywood are yet to find their footing, with two newbies faltering in the same week. Jacqueline Fernandez’s leather overdose and Shraddha Kapoor’s collegian look had us groaning.
Shraddha for a film screening wore a dull grey top, grey jeans and accessorised the boring outfit with a blah scarf. Jacqueline went overboard at an event earlier in the week, in a polka dotted brown shirt and matching brown patent leather pants.
