Crowds at Labor Day Picnic

Thanks to hundreds of attendees and dozens of officials & candidates who made our picnic part of their LaborDay!

Shaun Rabb from Fox4 stopped by our Labor Day Picnic to talk about the train wreck Trump campaign with our DCDP Chair Carol Donovan.

Above Senator Royce West speaking to the crowd, with Judge Sally Montgomery and DCDP Chair Carol Donovan, and to her own far right (of course) you can see part of the Donald Trump pinata which we were selling tickets for.

Some of the many Democratic tee shirts worn at the picnic.

Among the many of our other elected Democratic Judges who also attended were these three wearing their own campaign shirts from last year.

The DCDP needs phone volunteers who can call designated lists of potential Precinct Chairs with strong Democratic voting histories. So far, this method has proven successful in recruiting new Precinct Chairs, but we still have lots of precinct chair vacancies to fill.

If you are willing to help us make calls, at the DCDP office or at home, please call DCDP Operations Director Carmen Ayala at the DCDP office at 214-821-8331. Let us know when you are available, and we will have your list ready for you.
