The Orange County Library system has announced their programming for the month of January. Events include lessons on backyard chicken keeping, Latin dance, and coloring. Here is a list of 20 events that are coming up at the library.

Caring for Backyard Chickens

Having a small backyard flock of chickens is a growing trend in metro areas. Getting started with your own backyard chicken coop can be daunting, but the end result is rewarding. Pet Care Professional Laura Helseth will share her experience, offer tips and answer your questions.

Music in the Library: Hungrytown

Hungrytown is the musical duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson. Exploring Electronic Music Production & Performance with DiViNCi

Take a dive into the world of beat machines, electronic music production and performance with special guest speaker, DiViNCi of legendary hip-hop group Solillaquists of Sound. DiViNCi will discuss and demonstrate what has helped him on his journey from being a small-town bedroom producer to touring the world performing and working with artists such as Ms. Lauryn Hill. We will also open a Q&A on working with MIDI controllers, samplers and live production tools both on stage and in the studio.
