Way back in November, while at Festival, I met Lyric, as we were chatting across the table with a large group of friends, and she mentioned that she was going to be taping the QUILT show in Feb. I piped up and said, "Really? When? So am I!" It turned out that we were taping on the same day! Small world! This was wonderful on so many levels. One, getting to tape and spend the day with someone you already know is grand! And also, Having now known her, it made for a little girls get away! We had so much fun tooling around Charleston together.
Lyric is an art quilter/ teacher/music lover, who has so many fun tricks up her sleeve. I learned so much from her, while watching her taping! So many other things for me to try in my quilts! She opened up a new set of tools for me to explore.
Lyric was kind enough to give me a copy that I can giveaway of her Book, Art+Quilt Design Principles and creativity exercises! It's so cool that we were put together because even though we make different kinds of quilts, a lot about our books, relate.
