Toronto-based agency energi PR announced that it is expanding its executive leadership team with the appointment of Mark Nusca as Managing Director of the agency. A veteran of the public relations industry and a former journalist, Nusca previously worked for Porter Novelli, where as Managing Director he oversaw the agency’s Canadian operations. In this newly created position at energi PR, he will be based in Toronto and oversee all aspects of the business, including staffing, client service and growth in the agency’s Toronto and Montreal offices.
Mark has worked with clients in the consumer, health, technology, financial, and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to moving to PR, Mark spent 15 years as a reporter and editor at The Globe and Mail, National Post, Financial Post and Canadian Press News Service. Mark also lectured at Toronto’s Ryerson School of Journalism, one of Canada’s leading institutions for journalism.
Over the past five years, energi PR has experienced significant growth, with a focus on consumer and medical health and lifestyle communications.
