The American International School of Budapest, the first school in Central and Eastern Europe to offer the International Baccalaureate, has been providing this academically challenging educational program since 1995.

We are proud of our students’ achievements: in the last four years the average number of IB courses completed by our students has increased. In 2013, the average 12th grader was enrolled in an average of six out of a possible seven IB classes. Over the past three years our 92% average pass rate has been far above the 79% world average in May 2013.
