National Pasttime

It’s 1933 in Baker City, Iowa… WZBQ Radio is going under and Barry, the station’s owner, is trying to save it. Karen, Barry’s co-owner, wants to sell the station. Will a crazy scheme involving baseball change Karen’s mind and cause her to fall in love in the process? National Pastime is a musical valentine to love, baseball and the American Dream.

Egg Hunt

The Market at DelVal, 2100 Lower State Rd, Doylestown

11:00am – 4:00pm

Join us April 3rd from 11am to 4 pm for a day of FUN! We will have wagon rides, inflatables, craft and an Egg Hunt. Please bring your own bag or basket to collect six filled eggs and a prize! The Bunny will be stopping by, so bring your camera for pictures with The Bunny. The cost is $8 per child and $3 per adult. The Market is open 8am to 6 pm Monday-Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. $8 per child and $3 per adult

Book Signing: Carrie Rollwagen

The Doylestown Bookshop, 16 S. Main St, Doylestown

Interested in shopping local and supporting independent bookstores? Come listen to Carrie Rollwagen talk about her experiences shopping local-only for a year. Carrie’s book, The Localist, is all about her adventures buying local in Birmingham, Alabama and owning an indepenent business: Church Street Coffee & Books. Carrie will be at The Doylestown Bookshop on Friday, April 3rd at 7pm. Come out and support a fellow indie bookstore owner and hear how shopping local can help you and your town! Free

Easter Eggstravaganza

Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

11:00am – 4:00pm

Take a wagon ride to the “Hunting Grounds” where kids will find 6 candy-filled eggs, get a prize and meet the Easter Bunny. A great way to kick-off the spring season! While you’re here, enjoy all the fun in our Festival Field: the giant Jumping Pillows, ALL NEW Lil’ Bouncing Broncos, SBF 500 pedal go-carts, BEARS playground, and more (extra fee for gem mining and a few other activities)! Admission is $8/child, $3/adult. Wagon rides run continuously throughout the day. Please bring a canned food item to donate to a local family in need. Don’t forget your cameras

Doylestown Borough Youth Fishing Derby

Chapman Park , Boro Mill Rd. and E. State Street, Doylestown

8:00am – 4:00pm

This is a Youth Fishing Derby held at the Doylestown Borough Dam at Boro Mill Rd. and E. State Street. Free for children ages 16 and under. A good age is above 5 years old and older. Adults can help their children fish but the children must be actively catching the fish with adult supervision. Free Burgers, Hot Dogs, beverages, soft pretzels and water ice will be provided. Donations will be accepted.

The Music of Simon & Garfunkel and Joan Baez & Joni Mitchell

Sellersville Theater 1894, 24 West Temple Ave, Sellersville

AJ Swearingen and Jayne Kelli recreate the music, memories and magic of the most famous folk rock duo of our time, Simon and Garfunkel. Swearingen has been performing this music for twenty years with mastery of Paul Simon’s intricate guitar playing. His deep baritone blends perfectly against Kelli’s angelic vocals, which invoke a true sound in the spirit of Art Garfunkel. Joan and Joni is a musical tribute to Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell performed by singer songwriters Allison Shapira and Kipyn Martin. They’re both classically trained musicians who play many of Joan and Joni’s well known folk songs plus hidden gems
