Tony and Emmy Award winner Lillias White will bring her delicious, showstopping, once-in-a-generation song stylings to this year’s Bucks County Cabaret, a one‐night‐only concert produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The evening of song will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.
An ultimate Broadway diva, White has brought to life iconic roles in Cats, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Chicago and Fela!. She won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her unforgettable performance in Cy Coleman’s The Life. Next up, she’ll star in the Broadway-bound musical Gotta Dance, which is scheduled to open later this year in Chicago. White also is the voice of Calliope in Disney’s Hercules, won an Emmy Award for Sesame Street, has performed at The Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and toured internationally with her one-woman show From Brooklyn to Broadway.
“Lillias brings a boundless energy and gift of spirit that takes her audience on a joyous, musical journey like none other,” said Tom Viola, executive director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. “We are thrilled to have Lillias join us for this year’s Bucks County Cabaret. Beyond her powerhouse performances, she’s been a true and loyal friend of Broadway Cares since our earliest days. It will be a special night that we’re honored to share with the New Hope community, which has provided such essential support to those affected by HIV/AIDS for many years.”
The evening will begin with cocktails at 5 pm, followed by a 6 pm performance and live auction. An exclusive VIP reception with White will be held after the performance.

Previous editions of Bucks County Cabaret have featured Tony winner Alan Cumming, two-time Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth, Linda Eder and Obie Award winner and Tony nominee Malcolm Gets. In the three years the event has been produced by Broadway Cares, Bucks County Cabaret has raised $459,500.
