Lauren Ziel, a Bucks County native, opened the first Pennsylvania barre3 studio in Newtown in 2013. Prior to landing her dream job as a barre3 owner, Lauren began her career in Florida as a graphic designer. Bucks County SPCA: There are many ways to get involved to help animals directly and indirectly. Volunteer opportunities like Greeter and Community Outreach offers you a chance to get to know your local shelter, our services, how we operate. Animal Care Volunteers are able to learn about animal socialization, basic obedience, and showing affection to our resident pets of all kinds. Volunteers are accepted by application. Please fill out a volunteer application and drop it off, mail it in or fax it. Please allow at least 90 days for application processing. Accepted applications will be interviewed over the phone.

Bucks County Housing Group: Volunteers Wanted! There are many ways to volunteer and, since they have facilities located throughout Bucks County, you won’t have to go far to help! Are you interested in serving at one of our three Community Food Pantries or running a food drive? Find out more here.
