Before I do individual replies, I just want to thank you all for your sweet comments about Jane. I’ve had that picture of Madeleine’s daughter ready to post for over a month now, but I was really nervous about showing it as I haven’t made a sim toddler in a couple of years and I’ve never tried to do the whole resized-toddler-as-an-infant thing before. However, the feedback and support I received from you guys really touched me, and I appreciate it more than I can say. Y’all truly made my weekend. <3

She has that perfectness about her that is so beautiful in toddlers and she looks like her Mum, her eyes!! But I am cringing at that name choice that Maddie would be so unaware about, this sort of breaks my heart :’(
Awwww, thank you Kylie! I’m really very flattered that you think so. And I was trying to give Jane a bit of her mother, especially around the eyes, so yay that you noticed! :D As for her name, Madeleine will never call her Claudia, nor will her actual (i.e. biological) father. She will always be Jane to both of them. However, it just made sense to me that Christopher would want to give “his” daughter a connection to the woman that he believes will be raising her, which is why I decided to use Claudia as Jane’s first name.

Then just use the EA babies? They look pretty newbornly.
I actually went back and forth for weeks about whether to use EA’s burrito baby or a resized toddler, but in the end I opted for the toddler route as there are just so many more poses and so much more CC available for them. However, I completely agree with you about the EA babies. They really do look like newborns, and in my gameplay saves I always use them for a couple of sim days at least. But for my story, I wanted more flexibility, and since it moves at such a slow pace I was impatient, haha. Anyway, thanks for the comment! :)

Bahahaha, what can I say? Kit is a classy guy. :P (But yes, I am totally 100% on your side here. It was a disgusting, creepy thing to do, and when/if Madeleine ever finds out about the origin of that name she will be livid.)
