We all know the finde starts on a Thursday in this city. Chances are that many among us could be still hungover from last night that planning the next couple of days is on par with climbing Machu Picchu in terms of difficulty. It’s alright babe, we did that for you. Scroll down, take your picks and show Facu (or maybe it was Matias or Santi.. either way) that you know there’s more to nights out in capital than Rosebar.

Friday 11th

TANGO: Down for some tango in Manzana de las Luces‘ open patio? You can take part in the tango class for AR$70 from 7.30PM to 9PM or watch and dance with strangers or Facu from 9PM to midnight for free. Instagram the night away and remember to always go for valencia.

MUSIC: Ricky Martin is playing tomorrow at 9PM at Estadio Vélez (Juan B Justo 9200). Don’t panic, you haven’t missed your chance to watch him flex his muscles to La Mordidita. Tickets are still available, but you’re going to have to get Facu to splash the cash.

VISUAL & MUSIC: Watch the walls of San Telmo get taken to the next level of street art from 10PM with projections and music by Al Ver Veras. For more information you must contact these guys.

MUSIC: Jazz Jam Session at Club Cultural Konex (Sarmiento 3131). You can’t go wrong with this one. AR$130, 10PM. Be there.

MUSIC: From midnight at El Galpón (Niceto Vega 5976) there will be a line up of electronic DJs which you can check out here, here, here and here for Expedición Botánica. It’s AR$80 until 1.30AM and AR$100 after that.

Saturday 12th

FOOD: Buenos Aires Market is on again so get those stretchy pants on and get on that bondi to Belgrano (Sucre y Figueroa Alcorta) from 10AM to 7PM and then the culinary party carries on from 7PM to 2AM in Plaza del Avión in the province. Sorry foodies, if you want to keep indulging you’ll have to leave the city center, for part two.

FOOD: Panachef (Sanchez de Bustamente 1470) is hosting a Saturday of Caribbean food from 1PM to 9PM. Yaaaaaaaas, love a good fried plantain.

PHOTO: If I am not mistaken, this is an Instagram intercambio party. Amen. The American Embassy has organized an #upsidedownmeet for young Instagram users from the Northern hemisphere to share their filter tips with their fellow Latin American grammers. Check out the schedule on the link and make your way to Museo de los Inmigrantes (Antártida Argentina 1355).

ART: At 3PM you can start a six week street art course, also know as, Aerosol Urbano at the Mercado de Las Pulgas (Dorrego 1650). It’s on everything Saturday from 3PM to 7PM and starts this week so if you are interested in joining, you must sign up online by clicking on the above link or by emailing alfredosegatori@yahoo.com.ar.

MUSIC: It is the last PM OPEN AIR party which probably means it’s going to be a big one. So long sunglasses, shorts and bikini tops. Be there from 3PM. It’ll probably going to be quite the quilombo.

BOOKS: La Noche de Las Librerias is back from 6PM to 1AM on Avenida Corrientes in between Junín and Libertador. Expect books, obvio, talks, workshops, live performances and more.

FOOD & MUSIC: Get in vegans, we’re going eating. For once. A vegan fair is taking place at Abasto (Anchorena 575 y Pasaje Carlos Gardel) hosted by Club Seitán. Everything about this sounds evil, I know. But the selection looks surprisingly appetising for the lack of cheese. It costs AR$35 pesos to get in.

MUSIC: Folk, swing and country is coming to El Universal‘s patio (Soria 4940) at 9PM curtesy of the — rather awesome, might I add — porteño band La Familia de Ukeleles. Pay AR$80 to watch the sun set to acoustic sounds.

MUSIC: Soul, dub, jazz and funk? Yes, please. By all means, take us back to the late sixties, Club Cultural Konex (Sarmiento 3131). AR$120 from midnight. Funk’s not dead.

RAVE: The Church Raves are back and the opening party starts from 1AM at La Capilla (Suipacha 842). “Te vamos a volver a volar la ostia de la boca,” they say. Google it and get your joda on, you unholy souls.

Sunday 13th

FAIR: A fair of direct exchange between producers and consumers which brings together entrepreneurs, artisans and more all of whom make their work from scratch and share social and compassionate economic values. From 10AM to 7PM on San Martin 4453.

FAIR: Gamer fair from 12PM to 9PM at Hotel Bauen (Callao 360). I’m just going to leave this here and say no more.

BOOKS: International Women’s day should be every day and on Sunday a book fair dedicated to feminists is taking place at Centro Cultural Tierra Violeta (Tacuarí 538). It starts at 4PM and there will be a live performance at 8.30PM. Who run the world?

MUSIC: Classical music in Villa Crespo anyone? Heal that hangover with the Tertulia at quirky Casa Brandon (Luis María Drago 236). It starts at 8PM and costs AR$70.
