As our head office is located in Perth, Western Australia we want to share with you some of our favourite local bloggers and websites that as Perth Mums we can’t get enough of right now.
The talented ladies behind these blogs all have a unique and very special angle on what it’s like to be a mother and we suggest you pop over to their sites for a visit while enjoying your ‘quiet time’ this evening when the kids got to bed. Grab a glass of wine, put your feet up and enjoy some good reading.
1. Right as Rayne
Rayne Embley is a motherhood, fashion and lifestyle blogger based in Perth. She is also a TV presenter, MC, restaurateur, business women, wife to Andrew Embley and a mother of 3 gorgeous children! We don’t how she does it, but we are completely addicted to her blog and social media channels right now.
Rayne’s website is organised into categories so you can easily find what you’re looking for whether it’s the latest beauty and fashion trends to relationship and baby advice. We loved Rayne’s post a couple of months ago on 8 School Holiday activities to stop you pulling your hair out…. It was definitely a life saver!
2. Where’s my Glow?
Trae Flett is the ultimate Perth mummy blogger. She is a mother of 2 gorgeous wee ones and teaches the Blogging for Beginners course at the Australian Writers’ Centre. What we like about Trae’s blog is that it’s so relatable. From planning a LEGO birthday party on a budget to one of our favourite posts recently - 5 Lazy Lunchbox Tips (say organised, it sounds better).
3. Zippy Zappy Life
Jules, otherly known as Mrs Z is a true inspiration. She has a few sprogs of her own as well as being a foster mumma to ‘more than a few kids’. The ZZL blog has a unique angle, that being it is more of a diary of a mum than a parenting blog. We love the craziness of the blog and Mrs Z’s tone of voice which keeps you captivated. From reviews on local Perth events and kids products to her admittance of being The Sorry Parent, we can’t wait for the next post on ZZL.
4. Absolute Amy
Amy Zempilas is a local Perth woman who shares all of our passions: shoes, cupcakes, high tea and of course our beautiful families! Amy is a full time mummy who loves to write about everything from parenting to recipes, homewares, fashion, health and much must more.
Here at the Bubbalove HQ we have been dying to try out Amy’s Mum’s Chicken Soup recipe. With all the cold weather recently and winter fast approaching, this dish would be perfect and it’s great to know her girls love it too.
5. Sass and Spice
Jessica Foo is a mother of 2 beautiful girls, Lily & Nyla. Her blog is dedicated to all her favourite things in life: her family, being a mum, fashion & shopping to food and photography. She takes some of the most gorgeous photos of her girls which we just loved during her 52 Project posts last year.
This is only a handful of the awesome motherhood & parenting blogs in Perth and throughout Australia which provide us with fabulous advice, tips and sometimes a good escape from the real world, even if it’s only for a mere 5 minutes.
