Happy Monday!

I had a great day with my sis (not really time for a good talk, though), and then I got lost in my story. I wrote 8,000 words on Saturday, and 4,600 words yesterday. Wrote another scene this morning... That's fairly insane.

I didn't get a sunburn. I brought my umbrella and used it to have shade on the beach. I wasn't the only one, either!

In the evening, my brother in law cooked dinner in my kitchen. That was awesome. We had freshly caught salmon, potatoes, corn and salad. Yummy!

My story is getting epic. And while there is a lot of sex in it (it starts out with humans as sex toys for aliens), it is also about discrimination, equal rights, a rebellion and in the end, a new society where humans and aliens work together for a new future. I'm falling in love with my true hero, Zell. He's a warrior, strong-minded and honorable (and an awesome lover, hehe!), who teams up with a philosophical alien entrepreneur, a human girl and an alien neuroscientist. The four of them become inseperable and have tons of adventures, challenges and triumphs.

Of course, there are villains. Top villain is another alien entrepreneur and sadist. She enjoys abusing humans... and is very angry at the good male alien for spurning her advances. Revenge is quite a motivation, and she also wants to get her hands on Zell, and break him.

I'm so full of ideas, it's unbelievable. I'm slotting them into three novels. I can hardly stop writing at night.

I need a new pen name for this, I think.

Becky: So glad Stu and Cappy are now becoming part of the large cat family.
I'm sorry you fell, though. I hope you heal fast and you didn't break anything.
Sorry for the tree, too. I think you'll find that it was damaged somehow, or something got its roots.
All the best for Cloudy today!

LadySue: Yay for a nice day, and yay for a visit. It's good you had great fun - and they didn't stay to long. As introvert, I totally get that.
I'm not a beach person. It's nice to be at the seaside, but usually I'm happier at home and writing. I really need to get a tablet with a keyboard, so I can write on the balcony or in a cafe...

Queeny: Glad you got some fresh air ... but those fires are horrible.

Susa: Too bad about those pictures. And I'm sorry you're in such pain. I understand that it takes you weeks to recover.
Did Hobbes perk up with Piper returned?

Brian: I hope you made up with your sister. These fights happen, but the best we can do afterwards is to learn from them.

HG: I'm sorry you are under the weather. I hope it cools down and gets nicer for you. And yes, the UK has been getting a lot of rain this summer.
I'm not Queeny, but I think that yes, you can ask the Goddess for help.

And now I'll do a bit of work, and then I'll write. Can't stay away from Zell. Trouble is, now it's moving from just putting my heroes together and them getting to know each other into intrigue. That villain is going to take away everything so they have to run. And I need to figure out how! Always tricky.

There's some rain moving in, but I hope I can get home dry. I have my trusty umbrella with me, though!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!
