College of Nursing Programs
Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Before students can enter into the major nursing courses, they must accomplish a set of requirements and prerequisite subjects like anatomy, microbiology, nutrition, psychology and statistics. Master of Science in Nursing: Students inside this nursing program have already acquired their BSN and are currently working as nurses.
Part-or full-time enrollment can be made available and classes will be scheduled on the weekend and evenings. The course specifically trains nurses to work inside a clinical environment as a clinical nurse specialist or clinical nurse leader. Students may focus on a particular group of patients like the drug or alcohol dependent, elderly or mentally ill.
Students will learn on how to make programs and offer care for different populations inside the community.
College San Antonio
Two very popular post-secondary institutions that provide nursing programs in San Antonio, Texas are the University of Texas Health Science Center and the University of the Incarnate Word. For both schools the nursing degree begins at the Bachelor’s level.
