Ever since the mobile game Pokémon GO was released, the little critters have dominated the gaming world and the internet. These days no meme is safe from Pikachu and co. This November, two new main installments of the series called Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are coming out for the 3DS. It comes as no surprise that the new pocket monsters are going to be added to the online trading card game for iPad and PC sooner or later. Now, the Pokémon Company has limited the potential release date. In spring 2017, the studio is planning on releasing the Sun and Moon expansion bringing brand new Pokémon GX cards to the title. The term GX is referring for special attacks and Pokémon which are entirely new for the TCG and will require new tactics.
Every Pokémon GX will feature a special GX attack that will be so powerful that it can only be used once in an entire match. Additionally, they will only possess two other attacks that will also be very powerful.
It goes without saying that the expansion brings new legendary monsters to the online game. Solgaleo and Lunala are both coming to the TCG next year.

The Echo of Soul community got lucky last week, as the Berlin based publisher Aeria Games released new content for the free-to-play MMORPG. Episode 2.5 was released for the expansion called “Wrath of the Goddess”. It brings many new things to the game, particularly for high-level players. The update adds three new dungeons, which feature very powerful enemies, but also the chance to win rare items. Only the most courageous heroes will visit the Temple of Cernunnos, the Spring of Lethe, and the Woods of Chaos. As though that wasn’t enough, episode 2.5 also opens the doors to two new hunting grounds in Novisk – the Hintervale and Sunset Vale, which can be reached with Gear level 1328 and 1400 respectively.
The highlight of the latest update is the Doomspire Keep. It is an entirely new game mode, in which a Party will play through 50 different rooms. Each room features two bosses. In order to gain access to the Doomspire Keep, players have to visit Bernicia’s Dungeon Warp and find an NPC there who will start the necessary quest. The rewards for this game mode are certainly worth the effort. Before room 30, players will collect gear and healing items. After that, they will collect special coins that can be exchanged for a box that includes special mounts or other rare items.
Episode 2.5 will also start the new PvP season for Echo of Soul which will bring new gear items to the MMORPG. Additionally, the Moon Festival is now live through August 31st during which the special boss called Moon Queen Luna will appear in front of Ignea four times a day. Last but not least, the patch fixed some bugs and improved some balancing.

The first fall and Halloween related items are already finding their way into stores, despite the summer not even being over yet. Something similar is happening in the free-to-play browser game The Settlers Online. Test players can get a first taste of the spookiest time of the year. The international test server features an early version of the upcoming Halloween event, which is scheduled to officially run from October 19th to November 16th. During this time frame, players get a chance to earn many useful rewards.
As every year, players will collect pumpkins which they can trade for various items. A particularly great source for gathering the squash is the Pumpkin Cemetery. In comparison to earlier years, the production time has been reduced so that players can collect the event currency even more quickly. It will be possible to refill the cemetery with the special refill items. Players don’t have to use them, but can also choose to trade them with other players. Another way to earn the squash will be to complete treasure searches. More refills can be received by completing adventures.
Anyone who has reached at least level 19 can participate in the quest chain called “The Forgotten” during the Halloween event. Players can earn more pumpkins, items, and buildings for successfully participating in the quests. Anyone who has reached at least level 56 can also look forward to a special companion. The Supreme Golem will be available in four different versions.
