The free-to-play MOBA Smite has just had a cinematic trailer released showcasing some of its most well-known characters and locations from the game to celebrate the Smite World Championship starting.
On Thursday the 7th of January, the Smite World Championship kicks off in Atlanta, and to celebrate this year’s tournament, the folks over at Hi-Rez studios have released a well-produced cinematic trailer. The trailer shows the God Bellona, and her team of powerful allies taking on the Fire Giant and duking it out with the enemy team. Fans of the game will recognize the locations, and can see how their favorite characters look after having a makeover from the Smite development team. The Smite World Championship takes place between the 7th and the 10th of January, and the best Smite players from all over the world are gathering to fight for the chance to take home a chunk of the 1 million dollar prize pool. This event promises to one of the tournaments to date, and the Smite team have done a goob job in hyping up the tournament with their cinematic. After entering open beta a little while back, EndWar Online has been receiving regular updates. Ubisoft has just announced a new patch which includes a brand new commander and some special ops missions.
Ubisoft has been committed to giving fans of their online strategy game regular updates and content. This latest beta patch, number 1.2.0 includes a brand new commander to add to players’ armies. Brenner is a new AAV Commander, and he can deal some serious damage to any enemy air units that dare to come close enough. On top of this, he has a bonus that boosts the effectiveness of units of the same type.
As with any update for EndWar Online, there’s also usually some missions or campaigns included. This update is no exception, and Ubisoft has included some new challenges for players that have reached level 55 and 60. One of the new Special Operations missions is set in a snowy environment, and requires some good game knowledge and tactics to achieve victory. The guys and girls behind Candy Crush Saga have a new puzzle game in store for their community. Candy Crush Jelly Saga was silently announced a few weeks ago and has since been thoroughly tested in a soft launch. Soft launching a mobile game is similar to beta testing an online game. Certain regions can visit their respective app store and simply download the mobile game. They get to play the title and are asked to share their feedback with the developers. Candy Crush Jelly Saga is currently available in New Zealand.
After the app is thoroughly tested and all the bugs are fixed, it will launch worldwide. While there isn’t a set release date yet, we can only assume that it will launch in the not too distant future, considering that the match-3 game already has an official Facebook page and an official homepage.
Candy Crush Jelly Saga combines gameplay features found in Candy Crush Saga and its spin-off, Candy Crush Soda Saga to create a new gaming experience. Anyone who has ever played a match-3 game will easily find one’s bearings in the new installment. We are also pretty sure that the app will be beginner friendly, considering it’s a King game.
In a brand new twist, players get to battle it out against the Jelly Queen in new Jelly Queen Boss modes. This certainly sounds like it will change things up. Additionally, players are tasked to spread jelly or release the Pufflers. New boosters and candies are guaranteed to delight any fan of the series.

Goodgame Studios has just announced the international release of their free-to-play MMO Legends of Honor. Players become heroes and must build armies worthy of honor and glory as they conquer the map.
For those that don’t know anything about the game, Legends of Honor is the latest release from online strategy experts Goodgame Studios (Goodgame Big Farm, Goodgame Empire) It uses all of their experience in creating browser games and rolls it into one fast-paced strategy game that is well worth checking out.
Three Warring Factions
Players of the strategy game can choose from three distinctive factions; the Order of the Golden Claw, Knights of Ash and Shadow, and the Warriors of the Wild Lands. Once a faction has been chosen, players head out into the dynamic world and set out on their quest to conquer enemies and become a formidable fighting force steeped in honor. The alliance mechanic will be familiar to anyone that has played any kind of MMO game, but the system in Legends of Honor is a little difference. Once a player has joined an alliance, it opens up the possibility to coordinate attacks with their allies, and trade resources to become a respected group of commanders.
Interactive World Map
One of the most interesting parts of the combat and gameplay is the fully interactive world map; players can move freely around, and the world map comes complete with different terrain, hostile NPC marauders, and other players. The gameplay stands out as it includes a lot of real-time-strategy elements, unlike many other games in the same genre as Legends of Honor. It’s really important to make sure that the terrain you are fighting in complements the troop type. Now that the game has been officially released internationally, there are going to be many more players taking to the battlefield, so now is a good time to start a journey into the Legends of Honor universe.
