The new Rampage game mode is going live in World of Tanks, and is bringing new maps, tech tree changes and a new tutorial with it. Wargaming have been busy preparing the latest update to the free to play game.

After the announcement of the Rubicon patch back in October, we have been patiently waiting for some of the new changes to roll out onto the battlefield in World of Tanks. As of Novermber 18th, the new map, game-mode and tech tree changes are live. One of the biggest additions to the game is the brand new Berlin based map, playable in the rampage game-mode.

Familiar Landmarks

The Berlin map is ready for domination battles, with flags located at opposite ends of the map to be captured by each opposing team. The map is full of landmarks from Germany’s capital, such as the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. Players will have to use their best tactics as they roll around the streets of a war-torn capital hunting down enemy vehicles.

On top of the new map there is a new tutorial mode called “Proving Ground” that lets players hone their skills before setting foot in the ruthless PvP battles in standard World of Tanks games. To give new players a helping hand, the first 10 games played in the Proving Ground will bring the same rewards and profits as Random battles, so the newbies won’t miss out on precious XP or rewards.

World of Tanks is completely free-to-play, and is available by clicking the button below and heading over to the official website to download the war game.

Back in August the Beta for EndWar Online went live, and players have been getting to grips with the new online strategy game. Beta update 0.8.0 brings 14 new maps, a new level cap and new chapters to the free game.

After going live in August, the Beta for EndWar online has seen loads of players doing battle in the browser-based strategy game. Ubisoft has announced that the latest patch for EndWar Online is the biggest yet, giving strategy fans plenty of new content to get involved in. All three Factions now have 14 new maps to play with in both Normal and Veteran mode, a new level cap, and much more.

14 New Maps in 2 new Chapters

As with the other campaign chapters in EndWar Online, the story takes the player all across the globe as they gather high-tier rewards for their efforts in the war. The new chapters are the seventh and eighth installment in the series, and include some of the toughest challenges yet.

Level Cap Increase

Now it’s possible to level all of the generals and commanders up to level 50. This means that all of the commander skills can reach the same level, meaning that both enemies and players will be even stronger than ever before, so points, skills, and resources need to be allocated carefully in order to achieve victory.

There are a few other changes coming to EndWar Online, mainly in the in-game shop. Anyone that wants to read the full patch notes can find them here. If not, then click the button below to head over to the official website and play EndWar Online for free in your browser.

Seemingly out of nowhere, the guys and girls over at PopCap have added a new world to their tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies 2. Usually, game updates are teased first, giving us some time to mentally prepare ourselves for the new awesomeness. This time around, the update was simply released to the app store – and what a surprise it was!

It’s been a while since the last game update in Plants vs. Zombies 2 came out, which added a 70s themed disco world. The newest patch brings yet another world to the app, this time with a completely different theme. Players get to visit the Jurassic and battle it out against primeval zombies – oh, and did we mention, there were dinosaurs? Yup, there’s dinosaurs.

Each world in Plants vs. Zombies 2 has one specific theme and feature. The Jurassic Marsh adds dinosaurs to the mix. They might walk around the battlefield, but players cannot directly interact with them. That doesn’t mean that they are harmless however, as they have their own ways to interact with the game. The raptors for example like to kick the walking dead towards the left side of the battlefield, making it all the more difficult for players to defend themselves. The 16 new levels of the first half of the world also feature stegosauruses and pterodactyls, each with their very own characteristics. We’re sure that the second half of the world will feature the iconic T-Rex.

As with every new world, the Jurassic Marsh adds two new zombies and three plants to the tower defense game. Meet the Jurassic Fossilhead, the Primal Peashooter, and the Primal Wall-nut for example. For players with some extra cash at their disposal, the patch also brings a new premium plant called Grapeshot to the app.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, players can also look forward to a new in-game event called Food Fight, which started today and goes through November 30th.

A new hero joining the game in Heroes of the Storm is nothing new; Blizzard has been releasing characters regularly ever since the MOBA's launch. Cho’Gall, however, is a hero with a twist. He is the first co-operative character.

Blizzard has taken a new direction with the latest hero release. Cho’Gall can only be played cooperatively. This means that one player will control the movement and melee attacks, while the other deals with ranged spells and damage; the two players are constantly attached. Cho’Gall is the first co-op hero available in the MOBA, and it will be interesting to see how he performs with skilled players. Check out the spotlight video below to see just how he works in-game, and how all of the co-operative elements come together.

Another difference that Cho’Gall brings, is that you can’t purchase the character in-game. The only way to get Cho’Gall is to win two games with a friend that already owns the character, then he will be available to play. Lucky players that attended BlizzCon, along with a few others with a virtual ticket or loot code can claim Cho’Gall, and they are expected to share the character with their friends, and help him spread amongst the Heroes of the Storm community.

For those that haven’t yet played the game, click the button below and head over to the official website to download the MOBA for free.
