The guys and girls behind Candy Crush Saga have a brand new game in store for their brainy community! Think of AlphaBetty Saga as a hybrid between Scrabble and an adventure game featuring mice. Players can enjoy the game whenever and wherever they feel like it, since it’s available on Facebook, the Google Play Store, and iTunes.
Scrabble Meets Match-3 Gameplay
The colorful game was only announced two months ago, but has already officially launched worldwide. Currently, it features more than 100 levels, in which players support Professor Alpha, Betty, and their loyal friend Barney to collect new words and complete The Encyclopedia of Everything. Players will join them on an adventurous journey through exotic and diverse lands solving riddles, destroying mousetraps, and evading obstacles. Anyone familiar with Scrabble will know that letters which are less often used in the English language are more valuable in AlphaBetty Saga, rewarding them with more points. At least three letters are needed to form a word. Any direction is possible to form words – be it diagonally, up, down, or even backwards. The further players advance in AlphaBetty Saga, the more difficult the puzzle game gets. More and more obstacles will make it harder to defeat the later levels.
AlphaBetty Saga is available for free. As you might know from King.com’s other releases, there should be many game updates in the future to constantly expand the title.

Technically, players have been able to jump into the pixelated world of Trove since November 2014. That’s when the open world RPG launched its open beta phase. Why wasn’t it considered the official release yet? Well, Trion Worlds has been quite busy adding more and more content to the game, constantly expanding it, and fixing any issues present. Now, Andrew Krausnick, Trove’s game director, finally feels as though the title is where the devs had imagined it upon its initial release. This is the game that they had wanted to bring to the masses – well, almost! A few final updates before the launch will add the last bit of content and fix a plethora of bugs that still need some ironing out. These patches will be released in the upcoming weeks leading to the official release on July 9th.
Players can look forward to a lot of new content for their already expansive game. Trove will get its rarest collection type yet in the form of dragons! Aside from that, there will be new challenges, a new class full of life and death (whatever that means), a PvP beta, and a completed UI overhaul. The publisher is also planning to launch Trove on Steam.

Phew, it seems like forever since Hitman: Sniper was initially announced. Pretty much exactly one year ago, the guys and girls over at Square Enix said that they were working on a new mobile game based on the Hitman franchise. In comparison to Hitman Go, the app was going to be less strategic and a little more action-oriented allowing players to slip into the role of a sniper. Aside from hearing that the app soft-launched in Canada, it was pretty quiet about Agent 47’s second excursion on smartphones and tablets. Today is finally the day, however, that Hitman: Sniper is unleashed to the masses.
The publisher seems quite self-aware of the delay apologizing to the community for having taken such a long time between initial announcement and release:
According to Square Enix, the studio tried to make optimal use of the game’s soft launch period. Players’ feedback was valued and used to fix bugs and iron out any of the app’s wrinkles. The studio feels as though Hitman: Sniper has turned into a creative, leaderboard-driven sandbox title that players will enjoy. It is best described as a sniper game, in which players get to slip into the role of Agent 47, as they accomplish various scenario-driven contracts by eliminating targets.
Hitman: Sniper is available for Android devices and iPhones and iPads.

Hi-Rez Studios just released a new patch and launched the Summer of Smite event, which rewards players with a non-exclusive item for every exclusive item they purchase. As part of the summer event, the studio also released a few new god skins for their community to enjoy. The former god is a brand new release to the MOBA’s roster, whose adorable looks shouldn’t distract you from his powerful abilities. Ratatoskr is a mysterious addition to Smite. How he exactly came to this world is unknown. What is certain is that he is a sly messenger who is quick and accurate in battle. As a tree dweller, he relies on his connection to nature to fight his enemies, as can be seen in the more detailed description of his abilities below:
Acorn of Yggdrasil (Passive)
Whenever Ratatoskr spawns, players will find an acorn in his inventory which can be upgraded through the item store to further enhance his strength.
Dart
This attack allows the tree-dwelling god to dash into target direction dealing increasingly more damage. The cooldown is reset when he doesn’t hit enemies in more than 10 seconds.
Flurry of Acorns
Flurry of Acorns enables Ratatoskr to shoot 12 acorns in a circle around him. They freeze for a moment before returning to him, dealing damage both ways.
Acorn Blast
Ratatoskr deals damage to his enemies by shooting four acorns in a cone shape.
Through the Cosmos
For this attack, Ratatoskr shows his true tree-climbing abilities, as he jumps up three branches in a tree above him and strikes down to a designated landing location where he deals a lot of damage.
