Greetings, my loyal subjects. It Is I, Queen Crashwater. Some of you may have noticed that this is a new journal with different commissions prices than I have previously stated. I wish to address the changes to my pricing, as well as introduce this new list to you.
I am proud to announce to you all that I have FINALLY finished my Bachelor’s Degree. While this is a cause for celebration, it is also a wake up call of things to come. With the end of college, comes the eventual beginning of loan payments. These payments are incredibly expensive, and once they start to come in, I MUST pay them every month. While I apply for work in my field, the wonderful contribution you make by commissioning me helps me in at least making a little more than the minimum payment amount they ask of me.
I am also an Artist in Residence at the request and insistence of the art department at my college. However, this sadly is not a paying job and add the expense of being able to take the train once or twice a week for the next 3 and a half months.
Finally. I have improved so much in the past few months, and I need my prices to also reflect that. I wish to make you all happy with the quality of work I give in every commission, but I must also make sure that the profit matches the time ,detail and effort I place into each and every picture.
Currently, This IS my fulltime job. I am a freelancer. Designer, Illustrator, Artist, whichever you call me. I love all of my watchers and your support has helped me build this account from nothing to something that has the potential to be great. But I need your help. These price hikes will help me save up enough money and help keep me afloat. I wish to thank you all again. You guys have been absolutely wonderful.
