Frontline Source Group  – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for an IT Manager for our Carrollton, TX  client on a direct hire basis.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for the Company. This includes managing all IT operations to meet strategic requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Develops and coordinates a long-term strategic plan for world-wide information technology management.

Provides oversight and strategic direction for all aspects of IT Infrastructure relating to the evaluation, development, implementation, and administration of IT Services in tandem with strategic corporate objectives, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and business needs.

Manages and supervises IT staff to ensure appropriate assignment of job duties to enhance maximum delivery of services by IT.

Provides hands on support and maintenance of our SAP system including working directly with cross-functional leaders to architect solutions, utilizing SAP, to meet the strategic and operational needs of the business.

Oversees all IT and IT security-related responsibilities including the company’s computer systems, phone systems, website, and applications.

Provides applications development and support to all internal users and organizations, as well as portaled customers including the SAP system, internet website, intranet.

Provides database access, storage and recovery services.

Oversees the planning and management of the company’s telephone system and manages company-wide upgrade efforts.

Provides technical support for data storage and retrieval and system usage.

Provides development services for automation of reporting and evaluation of data.

Provides web development and support.

Provides system operation, setup and technical support.

Responsible for building security.

Establishes and monitors effectiveness of IT methodologies, process, and procedures and ensures compliance with internal policy and external regulations.

Responsible for participating in the annual business planning process and identifying and achieving corporate goals and initiatives that roll down to the department level.

Responsible for establishing department budget, and meeting or exceeding expectations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position supervises several technical positions.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individuals.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university and at least five years related experience in computer systems and networks, preferably including supervising. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) fifteen plus years related experience in computer systems and networks, including supervising.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, SAP, and operating systems required.  SOX compliance experience strongly preferable.    

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer demonstrated expertise with all aspects of people management, as well as budget and policy development.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must have strong decision-making skills, thought processing skills, and problem solving abilities.
