At Brilliant Directories we know that the only way the directory software can continue to be successful is if our Directory Partners are able to launch and grow thriving internet businesses using the platform.

To make sure that each of our Directory Partners is put on the path to success, we have a full staff of Directory Coaches to help guide you through the process of launching and growing your business.

What is a Directory Coach?

A Directory Coach is an expert on launching successful websites on the Brilliant Directories platform.  All coaches go through months of ongoing training covering the best practices of launching and maintaining a website using Brilliant Directories.  All of our coaches have hands-on experience launching their own directories using the platform and have invested hundreds of hours of consulting with directory partners from around the world that have launched successful businesses using Brilliant Directories.

With all of this combined experience, our staff of coaches have first hand knowledge of the strategies and tactics that have proven successful with other partners and how to avoid potential pitfalls along the way.

What will the Directory Coaches do for me?

Directory Coaches will guide you through the launch process, starting with providing guidance and suggestions to successfully complete your Launch Plan.  Once your Launch Plan is complete, the coaching staff will coordinate with our development team to quickly implement the design template of your choice, setup your optimized category structure, activate your desired membership features, setup your membership levels, and create a custom pricing page for you.

After this process is complete (typically 2-3 business days), you will have a fully functioning directory website that is open for business!

Directory Coaches will also:

Provide you with honest feedback about your ideas for your business

Help you fix any glitches with your website

Provide quotes and facilitate any customization requests you would like our team to complete for you (more information about this here)

Answer any questions about your site or the directory software that are not covered in our Learning Center

Is there anything the Directory Coaches cannot do for me?

There are some limitations to what Directory Coaches can do for you.  Some of these include:

Some questions or requests you have about the directory that are highly technical in nature may require the Directory Coach to do some research and get answers from our development team before getting back to you with a definitive answer

Directory Coaches are not able help launch businesses that are illegal or offensive.

Directory Coaches cannot log in to accounts you have with other websites or services

Directory Coaches are not able to provide quotes on customization requests without the full scope of the request being sent via email first

Is Coaching time included in my Subscription Plan?

Yes!  All subscription plans come with a number of complimentary sessions with a Directory Coach to help facilitate the successful launch of your directory.  Coaching sessions can be up to 30 minutes in length at a time and can cover any questions you have about the setup of your website, your business ideas, or best practices to succeed with your new business.

Does the initial coaching session to go over my completed Launch Plan or calling in to your 800 number to report a glitch on my website  count against my number of complimentary coaching sessions?

No, the initial introductory coaching call to go over your completed Launch Plan and calling in to the support line to resolve a glitch on your site does not count against the complimentary coaching sessions included in your Subscription Plan.

Can I buy additional coaching sessions?

Yes!  If you are interested in purchasing additional coaching sessions, please email coach@brilliantdirectories.com to receive assistance in purchasing additional coaching sessions.

My last coaching session was 25 minutes long, does the extra 5 minutes roll over to extend other coaching sessions?

Each coaching session can be up to 30 minutes in length, but if the full coaching time is not used in a given session, the remainder of the time does not roll over to additional sessions.  To make the most of each session, we highly recommend preparing a list of questions ahead of time to make sure you maximize each session to its fullest.
