I’m having a fantastic time in Karlsruhe, Germany, where I am running a 2 day internet course. The delegates were from The USA, Norway, India, Belgium, France, Germany, England, Scotland and South Africa. Fortunately they all kept up with my English! The training was held in an amazing multi-cultural school called ESKAR housing around 1,000 student from around 50 nations. I am here because one of the parents at the school found me online and we booked a telephone conversation to discuss how we could work together. Caroline and Sheila and I had a great conversation and then decided that the best option was for me to come to Germany and deliver the training. Today we covered the rudiments of search engine optimisation and everyone started setting up their WordPress sites. It was brilliant seeing people learning to embed videos, create hyperlinks and publish their own sites. It will be interesting to see how they follow it up and develop their WordPress sites beyond the course. Debbie, who is staying with us, has not come up for air since she arrived home from Day 1.
