Moschino is an Italian brand that produces original and comfortable casual cloths, evening dresses, perfume, shoes and accessories. Different interesting design with a sense of humor and irony. Since 2000, the brand belongs to the companies Aeffe SpA and Sportswear International SpA.
Franco Moschino was born on February 27, 1950 in Abbiategrasso, Italy and died on 18 September 1994 in Milan. From 1967 to 1970 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts – Milan. During his studies, he drew sketches and fashion illustrations. He was noticed by Gianni Versace and was invited to work for him from 1971 to 1977. Chief designer of fashion house “Cadette” (1977-1982). In 1983 formed his own company “Moonshadow” and the same year launched the brand “Moschino Couture”. Begins with ladies fashion, but in 1986 he already debuted in menswear. In 1984 he started his collaboration with Rossella Jardini and during their long collaboration, until the death of Franco Moschino’s death in 1994, Rossella Jardini became an important part of the creative process and head of the company, which at that time, had more than 100 employees and a distribution network, cooperating with Aeffe Spa, with 15 offices worldwide.
