WHAT YOU’LL DO
Brand Networks is looking for Project Managers to join our growing teams in Rochester, NY. This person will be responsible for managing the rapid execution of our social solutions through the entire project cycle including initiation, planning, execution and closeout. Specific responsibilities include:
Project/Client Management role for Facebook application projects for one of our largest clients
Work directly with our social strategists, account managers and the client to accurately gather the project requirements.
Create detailed project plans, with all tasks, dependencies, and timelines and independently define/execute the schedule, scope, and risk assessment
Effectively coordinate groups of technical and non-technical resources including designers and software engineers to deliver project work and execute the plan in a timely and cost-effective manner
Ensure the scope, schedule, and budget are communicated to stakeholders as they evolve throughout a project in a consistent manner
Frequent on-site client meetings in New York City (travel required for Boston position)
WHAT YOU NEED
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and software engineers, including a technical background or solid understanding of software development preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements
Strong understanding of web content strategy, with demonstrated experience in website or social web content management
Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office applications, popular Project Management/Bug Tracking software and common social/web applications
Understanding of the creative development process
PMP certification a plus
3-5 years experience in project management within a technology oriented company or division
B.A., B.S. or higher
