A lot! Here are some recommendations from the BournemouthNews.info team, including house, trance, techno, hip hop, funk and much more. See you on the dancefloor.

RECOMMENDED Saturday November 2: Terminal with special guest Mark Reeve at The Winchester

Lee Williams has coaxed one of the UK’s most exciting DJs to our shores. Cocoon, Drumcode and Intec producer and DJ Mark Reeve will be banging out some filthy techno alongside Terminal techno cru regulars Graham Davis, Scott O’Brien and Robbie Tronik. Base Music head Paul Moore completes the main room line up. In the Vault, cool off with some super-sexy house courtesy of Afrodisiac Radio regulars Mark Rush Palmer and Ovi Valentino Groza, along with Chris Moss Acid and Steff. Limited £5 tickets on sale at Paradox on Old Christchurch Road. If you’ve not been to a Terminal event before, watch the below video. And look out for Dougie Benge filming on the night.

Friday November 8: DJ Woody, Mix-Tape at Orange Rooms

We are loving the Orange Rooms, in particular the midweek music in the Bunker. Check out Bournemouth’s Daily Echo in the coming weeks for our detailed review of Marmalade, Finders Keepers and Mix-Tape. Out of the November lineups already announced, Friday, November 8 looks to be our favourite so far. DJ Woody joins host  DJ Roast Beatz for a festival of funk, hip-hop and rare grooves.

Saturday November 9: TWISTED presents Jumping Jack Frost at The Winchester

Friday November 15: Contakt at The Winchester, Bournemouth

Techno goes minimal as Bournemouth’s biggest names combine, lead by Tom Dubyes, for a journey to the dark side of the moon. The line-up is awesome - Kuba Drypher (Contakt), Tom Dubyes (Contakt), Drotter (Contakt), Dave Hornby (Shake), Alberto Cardenosa (Toma Sundays), Uncle D (Back2House) and Robert Miranda (Minimal Animal).

Saturday November 16: Back By Dope Demand at Hamptons

A massive line-up of Bournemouth’s best DJs – including the iconic Martyn T Hat ad Cut La Funk aka Bob Baker – combine for one big nostalgic party. Judging by the number of people involved, this party should last about a week…
